Here we have a stunning restored Swallow Dolls Pram. This Pram was in a very sorry state when I first got it home, the fabric had wasted away and the paintwork was just flaking off. Luckily it had a very sound structure. The body itself was taken back to the bare metal treated, primed and resprayed with a stunning British Racing Green. The frame for the hood was in good condition so i just needed to recover it and I made an apron from scratch using a sympathetic to the era Brown fabric. The wheels, under carriage and handle have had the rust removed and have been given a chrome effect. The rubber tires are in very good condition for their age and as far as i am aware they are original to the pram. I have also found a Vintage Cat Net that suites it very well.
